The Strikers Girls Cricket League is the flagship all-girls junior cricket competition in South Australia, with competitions across Adelaide Metro, and Country Leagues in the Barossa, Upper Fleurieu & Eyre Peninsula. (Scroll down for more information & link to clubs)

 

The league provides a pathway into community cricket from Woolworths Cricket Blast for girls or new players to the game from 8 – 18 years old. If you are interested in playing cricket, it’s never too late to start!

Each age group will play a format of cricket that is suitable to the age group and range of skill level, where all participants will get equal opportunities to bat, bowl, and field in different positions and learn to wicket-keep.

Under 10s, 12s, 13s, 14s, competitions will be using a Kookaburra Supa Softa Ball as a great way to introduce younger players to cricket without using the hard ball. As players progress to Under 15s and Under 18s the harder cricket ball will be used.

Metropolitan Competition Details:​

Day / Time: - Friday nights at 5.30pm starting on October 17th, 2025.

Age groups - Under 10s, 12s, 15s and 18s (Please note not all clubs have a team in each age group)

Upper Fleurieu Competition:

Day / Time: Sunday mornings at 9.00am starting on October 19th, 2025.

Age Group: Under 13's.

Day / Time: Monday nights at 5.00pm starting on October 27th, 2025. (Will be split into two age groups)

Age Range:  8-14 Years (Please enquire for older participants)
